Lisa is the Director of Personal Training at Sports Club Kahana. She uses her education and experience as tools when working with her clients. “Training is much more than just using weights, it also involves the mind. I develop both the mind and muscles with not only weight training, but also balance, core, cardiovascular and flexibility training. These elements of fitness, plus a good diet, are essential to a healthy body.” Lisa keeps her client’s workouts fresh and fun by incorporating new exercises, new methods and new toys.
Lisa has a BS in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from U.C.S.D. in addition to multiple certifications and seventeen years of training experience. Her certifications include ACE Personal Trainer, Clinical Exercise Specialist, Assisted Isolated Stretching Specialist, and Sports Nutritionist. |

Monica individualizes all of her client’s programs. “I consider the entire person when setting up a program. A well-designed exercise program can result in physical and mental growth leading to positive transformation, therefore enhancing not only a person’s body, but also his or her life!!” Monica’s sessions include total body training; range of motion, balance, and core exercises; and functional training. She also rewards her clients with a fabulous stretch at the end of each session.
Monica holds a Masters of Science degree in Health Science with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from Long Island University. She has certifications in Personal Training, Yoga, and Pilates Mat. Currently she is attending Massage Therapy school, expected graduation Sept. 2009. |

Emily’s athletic background in dance, soccer and other sports has led her passion for fitness and exercise. She has coached and instructed fitness for over 6 years. She will design an effective and efficient program to reduce body fat, gain fitness and increase muscular tone. She uses up to date techniques and innovative exercises that will give you the most effective results from your workouts.
Emily is certified as an AFAA Personal Trainer, multiple Group Fitness programs, and is working towards a degree in exercise science. |
